Community Intern

We are seeking a motivated Community Intern to join our team and assist with the day-to-day operations of our community. In this role, you will help create and execute programs that foster a sense of community among our members and provide support to our Community Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community management while contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the community manager with daily administrative tasks, such as responding to member inquiries and managing the community calendar.
• Help plan and execute events that promote community engagement and member interaction.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing initiatives that drive community growth.
• Conduct research on industry trends and best practices related to community management.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and coordination of activities.
• Participate in community meetings and other events to better understand the needs and preferences of our members.
• Assist with data collection and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of community programs.
• Provide support to members and assist with resolving issues as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a related field, such as marketing, communications, or business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and other online tools used in community management.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for community building and fostering meaningful relationships.

This is a part-time, paid internship position, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. The internship duration is six months, with the possibility of extension!
