The Dishwasher is an important role within Cru Hospitality Group (CHG) that serves as a support to both the Front and Back of House. The Dishwasher fulfills any duties assigned to them by the management team in a professional manner.

The role of Dishwasher is one that can elevate the experience offered by the entire operation. A successful Dishwasher is always moving, receiving, cleaning, and delivering dishes, glassware, silverware, and pots and pans. They’re constantly making sure their station and the entire kitchen is clean and organized. Oftentimes, it’s the Dishwasher who knows where everything is located. It’s not always the case, but many Dishwashers aspire to be line cooks, servers, or bartenders someday.

This role often requires heavy lifting, working with cleaning supplies, and working while standing.

This role reports to the General Manager, Head Chef, and Shift Manager of the location.


  • Sets up, cleans, and breaks down dish stations, including dishmachines and sinks.
  • Maintains clean and organized dishwashing station
  • Maintains clean and dry floors in the kitchen throughout the shift
  • Properly washes, sanitizes, stacks, and stores dishes, glassware, silverware, and cookware
  • Performs assigned opening and closing side work.
  • Changes water in dish machine and sinks on a regular basis depending on business levels. Properly uses chemical dilutions.
  • Communicates all low stock items to managers in a timely manner
  • Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries.
  • Assists in and understands the organization of the coolers, freezers, and storage areas.
  • Trains new members of the Dishwashing team.
  • Maintains the trash cans throughout the shift. Empties trash cans and cardboard boxes to their proper locations throughout the shift and at the end of the shift.
  • Ensures that both Front and Back of House have clean and dry supplies before breaking down the dish machine.
  • Assists in food preparation as directed by the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
  • Maintains proper health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Maintains overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Helps clean and stock all supplies.
  • Ensures all CHG standards are upheld or exceeded

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour
